OOh can I come too. I'm sure you could smuggle me in.

You can be assured I won't be wearing the flimly green dress again as a) it has disintingrated; and b) I saw myself in a photo, up a tree somewhere, and finally realised I looked like Mavis Pruett from Wil o' the Wisp in it.

PS: I can't wear tassels either (as I'm not a qualified tasseslist as you ladies are) and can't get the left one to twizzle as well as the right!

I`m positive we can squeeze you in Julie - but you must practise hard with the tassels : it`s all in the wrist, and we don`t want you letting the rest of us down.

Be sure to keep your tassels away from Lyn`s scissors, or they`ll end up stunted. If you`re offered some of Eleanor`s cake, just take a small piece initially, until you get used to the effects.

Far be it from me to state the obvious girls, but it`s so dated to swing them from your hips etc. - do try and add another string to your bow. We`re aiming for synchronised swinging outside the Abbey to warm up the crowds. We don`t want anyone to be out of step, so practise hard.

I don't think it would be appropriate to do swinging outside the Abbey Kathleen. Scared

Synchronised swinging?!?!?!? Whatever next? I doubt that I'll be able to move in my Viv Westwood (I call her Viv because she's a mate) creation, let alone "swing". The huge problem I have is that I may upstage the bride as all eyes will be on me.

I have reserved our row inside - right opposite HMQ and the rest of the gang, so we should have a great view. I'll leave the end seat free for Lyn, who will be rushing in at the last minute after doing the wedding parties hair (LOL LOL LOL ). Do you know, I actually felt sorry for Camilla after Lyn's last visit. Poor woman looked bad enough before, but now - well, what can I say? It should have grown a bit before the 29th and if not, she can always wear a huge hat (provided Lyn doesn't give that a short back and sides too).

Eleanor's cake is just about ready. Just needs to be sprinkled with the mustard and cress seeds and watered and there you have it. A little more subtle than plain "grass" and of course it doesn't need icing!! It seems to have taken ages to make, but of course, Eleanor kept eating a tier to make sure it was OK and then had to stay in bed resting for a few days!! Can't wait to taste it.

I am getting worried about Doreen and Julie's outfits. Kathleen and I will look our usual sartorial selves but those two - hm...talk about letting the side down. I've told Dor before that puce really doesn't do her any favours, particularly when she is flushed after eating the cake. Oh well, we hope for a fine day, or else we could all be scuppered

Poor Camilla - I heard that she was so traumatised after Lyn`s scissoring that she`s begun to talk to Charlie`s plants. I do hope security is thorough and someone confiscates Lyn`s scissors.

Are we all geared up for the "do" at the Palace afterwards? If we`re lucky we might get into conversation with William`s helicopter pals, though Doreen will be first in the queue of course.

I hope Eleanor recovers from her cake-eating efforts in time for the 29th. Is it true she`s wearing tartan?

Unfortunately, Kathleen, yes, but we don't know which "bits" will be encased in tartan yet! Not a happy thought, is it?

And please, in future DO NOT MENTION CHARLIE'S PLANTS - Lyn may well pick up on this and be off to Highgrove giving THEM a short back and sides!
